Trump’s campaign said the shooting happened “close to him,” but the Republican presidential candidate is safe.
Two people opened fire at the Trump West Palm Beach golf course on Sunday, September 15th. According to the sources, they aimed at each other and did not shoot Trump, the New York Post reported, citing its own law enforcement sources.
Earlier, Trump’s campaign said the shooting took place “close to him,” but that the Republican presidential candidate was safe.
As the son of the politician, Donald Trump Jr., told Platform X, the shooter was detained and an AK-47 assault rifle was found at the scene of the shooting.
Let’s recall that on July 14, at the politician’s election rally, a shooting incident occurred, in which Trump received a slight wound in his ear. One of the participants in the incident died, two other people were injured.
Intelligence services neutralized Trump’s attacker, who turned out to be 20-year-old Matthew Crooks. The FBI called the incident an attempted murder.
