Ukrzaliznytsia warns that trains from Prague may not be in time for connecting Ukrainian flights.
Due to flooding in Poland and the Czech Republic, several flights were temporarily cancelled. This also applies to trains traveling in Ukraine. The press service of Ukrzaliznytsia reported this on Sunday, September 15.
“At the moment, both trains from Prague – to Chop and to Przemysl – are still on the territory of the Czech Republic and there is no chance to board their connecting Ukrainian flights,” the message said.
The company emphasized that they are ready to accept passengers with tickets for today’s trains on any flight in the same direction in the next 24 hours for any available seats without exchanging tickets.
“For passengers from Ukraine going to their connection in the direction of Prague, we recommend contacting your Czech or Polish train operator and checking the schedule of the next flight cities,” they warned UZ.
We remind you that the situation with floods and flooding in southern Poland has worsened. So far, one person has died due to bad weather. People are being evacuated from several settlements and traffic is at a standstill.
