Ukrainian paratroopers defeated a unit of Russian airborne forces in the Kursk region.
The Communications Department of the Airborne Assault Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on its Facebook page, publishing a corresponding video.
The troops of the aggressor state are making desperate attempts to drive out the units and military units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces from the Kursk region, the report says.
It is noted that yesterday, September 13, the enemy threw 14 units of military equipment from one of the military units of the Russian Airborne Forces at the positions of Ukrainian paratroopers.
- two tanks;
- 11 BMD;
- one armored personnel carrier.
However, this attempt to break through the defensive positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces turned out to be a failure: in a heavy battle that lasted several hours, the Ukrainian paratroopers proved that they understand military affairs better, having mastered the science of winning with flying colors, the Airborne Assault Forces Command notes.
It is noted that, as a result, five BMDs, a tank and an armored personnel carrier of the enemy, as well as several dozen bodies of Russians, remained on the battlefield.
The remaining surviving Russian “Vedveshniks” nodded their heels, the Air Assault Forces Command added.
