The fighting on the front in Ukraine continues – there were 138 combat contacts over the past 24 hours.
The enemy was most active in the Kurakhovsky direction. There, the Defense Forces repelled 43 attacks. Another 28 Russian assaults were stopped in the Pokrovsky direction, and 24 in the Limansky direction. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
And in the Vremivsk direction, the enemy carried out 10 assaults near Yekaterinovka, Ugledar and Zolotaya Niva. In the Kupyansk direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped 11 enemy attacks. The Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled three attacks in the Seversky direction, four in Kramatorsk, six in Toretsky. In Prydniprovsky, the Ukrainian military repelled five attacks.
The General Staff also reported that yesterday Russia lost 1,210 soldiers, three tanks and 25 artillery systems on the battlefield.
The enemy’s total combat losses from February 24, 2022 to September 14, 2024 were approximately:
- personnel – about 632 thousand 630 (+1 thousand 210) people;
- tanks – 8 thousand 674 (+3) units;
- combat armored vehicles – 17 thousand 43 (+40) units;
- artillery systems – 18 thousand 86 (+25) units;
- MLRS – 1 thousand 186 (+1) units,
- air defense systems – 946 (+1) units,
- aircraft – 369 (+0) units,
- helicopters – 328 (+0) units,
- Operational-tactical level UAVs – 15 thousand 149 (+36),
- cruise missiles – 2 thousand 591 (+0),
- ships/boats – 28 (+0) units,
- submarines – 1 (+0) units,
- automotive equipment and tank trucks – 24 thousand 631 (+71) units,
- special equipment – 3 thousand 84 (+13).
Let us recall that the Russian occupiers have recently changed the direction of their assaults. In particular, on September 12, the enemy most often attacked two sections of the front – the Kurakhovskoye and Pokrovskoye directions. There were 60 and 36 assaults there, respectively.
