The Cabinet of Ministers approved the draft state budget for 2025. State budget revenues in 2025 are expected at UAH 2 trillion, expenses at UAH 3.6 trillion. The priorities are the defense and security of the state. Another priority is the financing of protected budget items – 400 billion UAH will be allocated for social protection. The third priority is supporting regions and businesses. This budget change is the implementation of a new model for the management of public investment projects, “which will make capital expenditures more transparent and efficient.”
