The defense forces will act in accordance with how the Belarusian authorities will act, assured the spokesman of the State Border Guard Service Andrei Demchenko.
The situation on the Belarusian-Ukrainian border is controlled by the defense forces. Movements of Belarusian troops take place deep in the co-aggressor country. This was said by the spokesman of the State Border Guard Service Andrey Demchenko on the air of a national telethon Unified news.
“Belarus does not stop putting pressure on the border with our country, trying to indicate that it is Ukraine that poses a threat to Belarus… But, despite everything… the situation on the border remains fully controlled by all parts of the Defense Forces of our country, and this includes border guards, and units of the Armed Forces and National Guard, which are also strengthening in this direction,” the official said.
The State Border Guard Service does not directly record unusual situations at the state border or any provocations. But since this direction is important, the Defense Forces will act in accordance with how the Belarusian authorities will act.
“Anyone who tries to approach us with war from this direction will, of course, receive the answer they deserve, in fact, fire will immediately open,” the spokesman assured.
When asked about the situation at the border bordering the exclusion zone, Demchenko said that the border guards do not record the movement of equipment or personnel near the border.
“Everything that Belarus is pushing, including the accumulation or transfer of its equipment, personnel, various units, all this is happening deep in the territory of this country,” concluded the representative.
As you know, Belarus has deployed almost a thousand fighters on the border with Ukraine.
It was also reported that Belarus was “forced” to move almost a third of its army to the Ukrainian border.
