In Russia, teenagers at the Noyabrsk airport in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug set fire to an Mi-8 helicopter on order.
This was reported by the resource BAZA.
The event took place on the night of September 11 at the Noyabrsk airfield, when two minors got into the territory through a hole in the fence. Two boys, aged 13 and 14, were promised 5 million rubles for setting fire to a helicopter.
They set it on fire with a cigarette that teenagers threw inside the Mi-8, and the helicopter exploded due to the fire.
One of the minors suffered severe burns to his face, which is why they had to call an ambulance.
The boys were detained in the hospital, where they confessed to the crime they had committed.
They also reported that they had previously set fire to a telephone tower on order, for which they received 30 thousand rubles.
As a result of the fire and explosion, the My-8 helicopter was completely destroyed, leaving only the tail boom.
