Trump avoided directly answering the question of how exactly he would end the war in Ukraine. The politician just noticed that the United States is spending billions on this war, more than the EU and NATO. Trump also said he could end the war “within 24 hours” and before he becomes president.
“The reason Donald Trump said this war is going to end in 24 hours is because he’s going to give up,” Harris responded.
Let’s remember that during the debate with Harris, Trump did not give a clear answer to the question of whether he wants Ukraine to win. At the same time, Harris announced his support for Ukraine.
CNN conducted a survey of registered voters who watched the debate. 63% of respondents believe Harris won. 37% of respondents preferred Trump.
