SBU investigators informed the defendants of the suspicion. They face up to 10 years in prison with confiscation of assets.
The security service detained two collaborators in the Kharkov and Kherson regions who collaborated with Russia at the start of an all-out war. The SBU press service reported this on Tuesday, September 10.
One of the defendants is a former official of the Kupyansky City Council, who, after acquiring the community, voluntarily joined the local labor administration of the Russian Federation. There he was appointed “chief specialist of the construction department.”
In this “position”, the collaborator is engaged in the reconstruction of buildings destroyed by the Russians for their subsequent transfer to the needs of the Russian Federation.
First of all, the enemy “quartered” the personnel of the Russian occupation groups in such facilities and equipped their depots with ammunition.
After the de-occupation of the community, the collaborator fled to Kharkov, where he hid as a “displaced person.” SBU officers found him and locked him up in a rented apartment.

Another henchman of the enemy is a resident of Kherson. After capturing the regional center, he got a job in the “election commission” job.
While part of a pseudo-institution, the woman was a member of so-called “mobile voting groups” that visited the homes of local residents and encouraged them to support the fake referendum.
At the same time, the collaborator asked people to sign the region’s “accession ballots” in Russia.
After the release of Kherson, the attacker remained in the city, where he tried to “take down” and avoid justice. The security service documented the defendant’s criminal actions and detained him.
SBU investigators informed both defendants of suspicion under the following articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:
-
collaborative activities;
-
cooperative activity done by the prior conspiracy of a group of people.
Perpetrators face up to 10 years in prison with confiscation of assets.
We remind you that earlier the SBU detained an official of the Kherson court, who worked for Russia during the occupation of the city.
