The telethon “Unified News” continues to actively lose trust and interest in society.
These are the results of a sociological survey conducted by the Ilko Kucheriv Democratic Initiatives Foundation together with the sociological service of the Razumkov Center commissioned by the CHESTNO Movement from August 8 to 15, 2024.
According to a survey on the loss of relevance of the Telethon:
- 35% – completely agreed with the thesis;
- 16.3% – I agree and I disagree;
- 15.6% – I rather agree;
- 10.7% – rather disagree;
- 7.7% – completely disagree;
- 15% of respondents found it difficult to answer this question.
The results of the study show that the telethon’s audience is becoming smaller and smaller, which means that the feasibility of its existence is in question.
Recently, the new Minister of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine Mykola Tochytskyi stated during a meeting of the Committee on Humanitarian and Information Policy that “The Marathon was, is and will be. We need to find a form to generate public interest.”
