A Russian military UAV crashed in eastern Latvia on Saturday, September 7. The Latvian Ministry of Defense announced this on Sunday, September 8.
Currently, law enforcement agencies in the country are investigating the circumstances of the incident. According to preliminary data, it is a military UAV, which probably took off from the territory of Belarus.
The Latvian Armed Forces act in accordance with the established procedures, in particular, they inform the NATO command.

It was also learned that on the night of the attack a group of suicide bombers flew into Romania.
Remember that on the night of September 8, the Russian army attacked Ukraine with four X-59 guided aircraft missiles and 23 Shahed drones.
Ukrainian air defense forces shot down 15 drones and one missile, the command of the Ukrainian Air Force reported. Two other Russian drones were “locally lost” and were likely suppressed by electronic warfare.
As a result of the night attack in the Kyiv-controlled part of the Kherson region, four people were injured. Two more died and four were injured due to the air strike in the city of Sumy.
