Ukraine won five gold medals on the tenth day of the Paralympics

Today is the last day of the competition. The President expressed gratitude to the athletes of Ukraine for their steadfastness and resilience.

On the tenth day of the Paralympic Games in Paris, Ukraine won 12 more medals: 5 gold, 3 silver and 4 bronze. President Vladimir Zelensky announced this on Facebook on Sunday, September 8.

“Igor Tsvetov, Victor Didukh, Anastasia Garnik, Alexander Nazarenko, Andrey Trusov, Marina Litovchenko, Denis Ostapchenko, Evgenia Breus, Natalya Morkvich, Nadezhda Dolog, Elena Fedota-Isaeva, Nikolai Sinyuk, Yuriy Babinets, Igor Nimchenko, Sergey Palamarchuk – thanks for with every victory!” – wrote Zelensky.

The head of state reminded that today is the last day of the competition.

“We root for our Paralympic athletes, their resilience and courage!”

We previously wrote that Ukrainian swimmer Anton Kol became a bronze medalist at the 2024 Paralympic Games in the 50m backstroke in class S1.
