Russia’s military losses in the war with Ukraine have already exceeded 625 thousand soldiers and officers.
During September 7, the defenders of Ukraine eliminated 1,270 Russian occupiers on the front. Also, 30 artillery systems, 80 drones and 19 combat armored vehicles were destroyed. This was stated by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on September 8.
The enemy’s total combat losses from February 24, 2022 to September 8, 2024 were approximately:
- personnel – about 625 thousand 260 (+1 thousand 270) people were eliminated;
- tanks – 8 thousand 636 (+4) units;
- combat armored vehicles – 16 thousand 897 (+19) units;
- artillery systems – 17 thousand 804 (+30) units;
- MLRS – 1 thousand 180 (+2) units;
- air defense systems – 942 units;
- aircraft – 368 units;
- helicopters – 328 units;
- Operational-tactical level UAVs – 14 thousand 864 (+80) units;
- cruise missiles – 2 thousand 588 units;
- ships/boats – 28 units;
- submarines – 1 unit;
- automotive equipment and tank trucks – 24 thousand 218 (+47) units;
- special equipment – 3 thousand 47 (+10) units.
Let us recall that fighters from the 15th operational brigade of the NGU “Kara-Dag” destroyed a Russian BTR-82A in the Pokrovsky direction, which was trying to storm the positions of the guards.
