An explosion was heard in Kyiv on Sunday, September 8.
The explosion occurred in the Goloseevsky district and was not related to the shelling. No alarm was issued in the capital. The explosion occurred at a motor transport enterprise. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported this on Telegram.
It is noted that it was an explosion of unknown origin. A two-story building was partially destroyed. There was no fire, but there may be people under the rubble.
The State Emergency Service reported that 31 rescuers and eight units of equipment are working at the scene.
The Kiev city military administration reported what is known about the victims.
Let us recall that an explosion occurred at the Omsk Oil Refinery in Russia, which disabled almost half of the plant’s capacity. As a result of the incident, the most productive primary oil refining unit AVT-11 was damaged and shut down.
