In Kherson, citizens gathered at the monument in Shevchenko for a peaceful rally against Russian aggression and for Ukraine, reports Ukrniform.
At about 13:00, protesters in the Russian-occupied city simultaneously chanted: “Kherson is Ukraine!”, “One, united, cathedral Ukraine!”.

They also shouted: “Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the heroes!”, “Together we are rich, we will not be defeated!”, “Glory to the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine!”, “Nikolaev! We are with you!” and other patriotic slogans.

Event participants say they came to show that they don’t want Russia’s power in the Kherson region, they don’t want any KhNR.

According to event participants, residents of Kherson held a rally, and then the military of the Russian Federation with equipment came to the scene to disperse.
“We were able to hold a rally. Now the equipment of the Russian Federation has arrived there,” said one of the participants in the event.
Earlier, townspeople traditionally gathered for protests in Svoboda Square – near the building of the regional state administration and regional council. This square, like the building, is now controlled by armed Russian troops who use weapons against protesters and kidnap people.
Recall that the Russian occupiers were carrying out filtering measures in the territory of the Kherson region temporarily occupied by them.
