In the temporarily occupied Lisichansk in the Luhansk region, which is more than 15 km long, the population stopped receiving drinking water in the summer.
This was reported today, September 7, on the Telegram channel of the Luhansk OVA.
For the third year now, the invaders have been promising to repair the centralized water supply system, but the matter has not progressed beyond talk and show repairs of individual sections, the OVA notes.
It is noted that local residents previously organized water delivery, albeit on an irregular basis.
Recently, water trucks provided to Russia have disappeared from the city. This event coincided with the replacement of the curator from Tatarstan, who is “in charge” of Lisichansk, – noted the OVA.
The Russians occupied Lisichansk in early July 2022.
