In the past 24 hours, the Russians have attacked energy facilities in the Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk, Sumy and Kharkov regions.
Experts eliminate the consequences of the Russian attack on energy facilities in four regions of Ukraine. The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine reported this on September 7.
It was noted that in the past 24 hours the Russians attacked energy facilities in Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk, Sumy and Kharkov regions.
According to the Ministry of Energy, in Donetsk and Sumy regions, air lines were shut down due to the fighting. In the Dnepropetrovsk region, equipment at a substation was turned off as a result of a drone attack. Household consumers in 13 settlements have no electricity supply. Power has been restored.
Also, after the air raid, due to smoke in the substation area, the crew disconnected the overhead line. The substation, household consumers and local industry were de-energized. Power supply to consumers has been resumed.
In the Kharkov region, due to the fighting, a substation and household consumers lost power.
It was reported that in the Donetsk region, a fire broke out near one of the mines, which created a threat of combustion products entering the mine. At the time of the incident, there were 100 workers in the mine. Everything was brought to the surface. The fire has been extinguished, no one was injured.
The Ministry of Energy noted that in the past 24 hours, power engineers have restored electricity to 60,540 consumers who lost power as a result of clashes and technological disruptions.
In total, as of the morning of September 7, 533 communities remained without electricity supply.
The export of electricity on September 7 is not carried out or planned; there are no power restrictions for consumers.
The Ministry of Energy added that the situation in the energy system remains stable, but the great damage caused by Russia’s massive attacks, including one of the largest attacks in the energy sector on August 26, continues to aggravate in the operation of the energy system. In addition, Russian troops do not stop the daily shelling of energy infrastructure facilities.
A large-scale repair campaign continues to restore stable operation of the energy system and prepare for the fall-winter season.
We remind you that the Russian attack on August 26 disrupted the operation of two nuclear power plants in Ukraine. Four power units are disconnected from the network.
