“The main aspects of the meeting include strengthening Ukraine’s air defense capabilities, updating the coalition’s capabilities, including the coalition Air Force, and revitalizing the defense industrial bases of the coalition countries to ensure support for Ukraine in the long term,” Singh said.
According to him, Ukraine is important for both American and international security.
As the official added, the efforts of the Contact Group participants “play a more important role in Ukraine’s struggle for independence and sovereignty.”
President Vladimir Zelensky will personally attend the 24th meeting of the contact group on the defense of Ukraine in the Ramstein format, which will be held in Germany.
As is known, the meeting of the Contact Group will take place on September 6 at the Ramstein military base. German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius was also there. The night before, he was to meet with Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, who had previously visited the United States.
