In Belarus, the fall of debris from a downed drone likely caused a fire.
The press service of the country’s Ministry of Taxes and Duties reported this today, September 5.
As a result of the fall of a presumably shot down unmanned aerial vehicle, a fire broke out in a brick warehouse building in Gomel on 8th Ilyicha Lane. The Ministry of Emergency Situations units extinguished the fire. No one was hurt. The fire damaged 5 square meters of the roof, the report states.
According to the monitoring group “Belarusian Gayun”, at least eight “shahids” flew into Belarus that night; at least two of them were destroyed.
Let us recall that earlier today, social networks reported the shooting down of two “shahids” in the skies over the Belarusian city of Gomel, which presumably deviated from the course during another Russian massive air attack on Ukraine. The beating of the drones was subsequently confirmed by the country’s Defense Ministry.
