Russian invaders launched another massive nighttime drone attack on Ukraine. In Kyiv, the air raid alarm lasted for more than nine hours.
The KMV press service reported this today, September 5, in the morning.
It is noted that:
- Russian drones began flying into Ukrainian territory yesterday, September 4, late in the evening (around 10 p.m.) from the southern and eastern directions;
- Almost all southern, northern, eastern, central and part of the western regions of Ukraine, including Kyiv, were under threat of air strike;
- The alarm was sounded in the capital before midnight and continued continuously for more than nine hours.
During all this time, Russian drones, previously like Shahed, tried to attack the capital. This time they entered Kyiv mainly individually, not in groups, KMVAs note. – But not a single hostile UAV achieved its goal! All drones that threatened the capital were neutralized.
According to operational construction data, there are no casualties or damage in Kyiv.
