The American side has crossed the threshold it set for itself, the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry believes.
Moscow called on Washington not to joke with “Russian red lines” when considering the issue of providing Ukraine with long-range missiles. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said this, Interfax reported on Wednesday, September 4.
“They (Americans – ed.) should understand our “red lines”.
According to Lavrov, “the Americans have crossed the threshold they set for themselves.”
“They were enticed, and Zelensky, of course, sees this and took advantage of it,” said the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
“The obsession with the struggle for power, so that the Democrats show themselves to be cooler than the Republicans, or vice versa, at least for now, leads to a greater increase,” concluded Lavrov.
The previous day, the media reported that the United States does not exclude the transfer of long-range JASSM missiles to Ukraine, which can be launched from F-16 aircraft. Their range can reach almost 1,000 km, depending on the modification.
