Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky commented on the upcoming changes in the government.
The head of state said that the Cabinet of Ministers needs “new energy.” The President is confident that the personnel rotation is connected with strengthening Ukraine in various areas. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said this on September 4 during a briefing with Irish Prime Minister Simon Harris.
I have already spoken about rebooting our Cabinet of Ministers, many ministries. …Today we need new energy, and these steps are connected with strengthening our state in various directions, he noted.
At the same time, the head of state said that he could not predict what the ministers would do after their dismissal. He noted that the answers to this question would appear when these politicians were offered certain positions.
Let us recall that on September 4, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine approved the dismissal of the Minister for Strategic Industries of Ukraine Oleksandr Kamyshin, the Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Olha Stefanishyna, the Minister for Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine Ruslan Strelets, and the Minister of Justice Denis.
However, the people’s deputies did not have enough votes to dismiss Iryna Vereshchuk from the post of Vice Prime Minister – Minister for Reintegration and Vitaliy Koval from the post of head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine. And the dismissal of Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba was not considered at the meeting.
