The Solotvyno-Sighetu-Marmatiei checkpoint on the Romanian border will partially suspend the passage of vehicles. The restrictions will remain in effect for one month. This is reported by the State Border Service.
According to information from the Romanian side, due to the emergency situation, repairs will be carried out on the bridge over the Tisza River.
“The passage of vehicles will be stopped from 10:00 to 15:00 from Monday to Friday,” the message said.
It is noted that the restrictions will continue for a month starting September 5, 2024. Pedestrian traffic will not stop at this checkpoint.
To travel to Romania, Ukrainians can use the following state border crossings:

Porubnoye – Siret. The point is open 24 hours a day. Passage of passenger vehicles, cargo vehicles, as well as pedestrians is allowed.

Dyakovo – Halmeu. The point is open 24 hours a day. The passage of passenger vehicles, cargo vehicles, passenger buses, vehicles and pedestrians is allowed.

Krasnoilsk – Vikov de Sus. The point is open from 08:00 to 20:00. The passage of passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tons and the crossing on foot are allowed.
We remind you that at the Chop-Zahony checkpoint on the Hungarian border, car traffic is difficult due to repairs.
It was previously reported that until around September 12, crossing the border at the Grebenne-Rava-Russkaya checkpoint may be difficult. Poland has started repairing the asphalt surface.
