Parliament failed to vote to remove Maryana Bezugla from the post of Deputy Chairperson of the National Security Committee.

    .

Only 205 MPs supported the resignation.

MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak reported this on September 4.

He published the results of the vote in the Rada. Bezuglya was supported in office by some of the Servant of the People deputies and the entire Platform for Life and Peace faction, which consists of former members of the Party of Regions and the Opposition Platform – For Life.

278 MPs voted to include this issue on the agenda. This is not the first time that a similar resolution to exclude a deputy from a committee has appeared in parliament.

Those initiating Bezuhla’s dismissal from her post point to her constant criticism of the Ukrainian command.
