We share the anguish of the victims’ families and stands with the people of Ukraine,” the statement said.
According to the EU spokesperson, over the past two and a half years, Russia has terrorized the population of Ukraine during its criminal war of aggression, carrying out indiscriminate missile and drone attacks across Ukraine, mostly in civilian targets.
“Ukraine, in accordance with its legitimate right to self-defense under the UN Charter, must effectively repel the shameful attacks carried out from military platforms in Russia and deny the aggressor The European Union is remains committed to increasing military supplies, including air defense and missile systems will strengthen Ukraine’s self-defense, save innocent lives and help reduce the level of destruction in Ukraine,” the spokesman said.
Let’s remember that the White House commented on the Russian strike in Poltava, calling it “another terrible reminder of the scale of cruelty of the Russian leader Vladimir Putin to the people of Ukraine.”
At the same time, the Russian missile attack in Poltava did not change the policy of the United States in giving Ukraine the capabilities and permission to strike deep into Russian territory.
