    .

This was reported by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov:

Today Poltava and all of Ukraine are experiencing a terrible tragedy. The Russian aggressor hit one of the city’s educational institutions and a hospital with ballistics. Dozens of people were killed, hundreds were injured. Rescuers and emergency services are working on the scene.

The circumstances of the tragedy will also be investigated by the Main Inspectorate of the Ministry of Defense in cooperation with law enforcement. Today’s events in Poltava are further proof of the cruelty of Russian terror.

There are already 49 known deaths in Poltava, Defense Ministry spokesman Dmitry Lazutkin reported on the air of the telethon at 17:00 on September 3.

He once again emphasized that no construction took place at the institute at the time of the strike.
