According to acting Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Taras Vysotsky, the purpose of signing the memorandum and its annex is “to ensure food security, a predictable, predictable, flexible and stable grain export regime and the sustainable functioning of the grain market in Ukraine.”
“The parties agreed to further monthly monitoring of grain export volumes and, if necessary, adjustment of the maximum export volume in January 2025,” the statement said.
We remind you that Ukraine has increased the volume of grain exports compared to last year and now, on average, 7 million tons are exported monthly.
It was also reported that the export of food products from Ukraine in the first half of 2024 reached UAH 12.4 billion.
