Ukraine’s parliament plans to fire four ministers this week, appoint their replacements, and make appointments to several ministries that have been without leaders for a long time.
People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak wrote about this on September 3.
The deputy noted that the parliament will not consider personnel issues on September 3, but “tomorrow and the day after tomorrow they are very actively talking about a number of rotations.” In particular, he confirmed the media reports about plans to make changes in the President’s Office, where they plan to fire Deputy Head of the President’s Office Rostislav Shurma.
According to Zheleznyak, they plan to dismiss the head of the Ministry of Justice Denis Malyuska, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba, the head of the Ministry of Environment Ruslan Strelets and the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk.
First, they will fire additional ministerial positions. Some will simply be lost, some will be transferred. And then they will appoint these vacancies + six ministries that are without ministers. Although some ministries will be added to the current portfolios of deputy prime ministers, Zheleznyak said.
