The Russian city of Tver was attacked by unknown drones on the evening of September 2.
The drones’ target was a local military airfield. It was probably the joint-base airfield of Migalovo, located on the outskirts of the city. Around 11:00 p.m., Russian air defense was operating in the Migalovskaya military unit. The relevant information was disseminated by local Telegram channels.
As is known, the Migalovo airfield is included in the State Register of Airfields and Heliports of Civil Aviation of the Russian Federation. The An-22 aircraft squadron is based at this airfield — the only structural unit in Russia that operates aircraft of this type.
The distance to this object from the Ukrainian border is about 512 km.
Meanwhile, the Russian Defense Ministry announced the alleged shooting down of two UAVs over the Bryansk and Kaluga regions. The Russian invaders did not mention Tver.
Let us recall that in August, the Marinovka airfield in the Volgograd region of the Russian Federation was completely destroyed after a night attack. Significant destruction was recorded not only in warehouses with guided aviation bombs and fuel, but also around hangars with aircraft. The aggressor probably lost from one to five Su-34 fighter-bombers.
