Analysts from the DeepState project reported that Ukrainian military personnel have completed clearing the Malaya Loknya-Pogrebki line in the Kursk region of Russia.
The advance groups of Ukrainian troops allegedly tried to break through to Lgov and the Lgov-Kurchatov highway.
Lgov is a city of 17,000 in the Kursk region; the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant is located in Kurchatov.
Our military is in control of the situation. The sabotage and reconnaissance group has not been allowed to break through into the city and onto the highway, Russian war correspondents and regional Kursk publics claim.
Meanwhile, the enemy occupied Dolinovka and also advanced near Makeyevka and Toretsk.
On September 1, ISW reported that Russia had moved part of its reserves from Pokrovsk to Kursk region in an attempt to stop the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ advance.
These units operated east of Pokrovsk until at least mid-August.
According to the OSINT Evocation organization, Russia has also redeployed elements of the 1st “Slavic Motorized Rifle Brigade” of the “DPR” militant group from the Donetsk direction (from Toretskaya and Pokrovskaya) to the Kursk region.
