Ukraine is working to ensure that as many Russian military facilities as possible are available for attacks by Ukrainian weapons. President Vladimir Zelensky said this in an evening speech on Sunday, September 1.
“A terrorist state must feel what war is. We are working to ensure that more Russian military facilities, Russian logistics, critical facilities of their military economy – so that all of this is within the access zone for our weapons.” Zelensky said.
He also mentioned the attack in Kharkov on Sunday, which injured nearly 50 people.
According to Zelensky, every strike of the Russian army on populated areas of Ukraine is a confirmation that the war should be pushed into the territory of the Russian Federation, and not only at its border.
As reported, on Sunday morning unknown drones of aircraft type attacked Moscow and 14 regions of the Russian Federation. This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense, which stated that a record 158 drones were said to have been shot down. However, videos on social networks indicate that after the UAV attack in the Russian Federation, two power plants caught fire: Konakovskaya GRES (state district power plant) in the Tver region and Kashirskaya GRES in the Moscow region.
