The number of wounded as a result of the massive Russian missile strike on Kharkov has increased.
As of the evening of September 1, the number of victims has increased to 47 people. Among them are seven children. Three people were rescued from under the rubble. Search and rescue operations are ongoing. The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported this on Telegram.
It is noted that 21 victims sought medical assistance at the shopping center, which was also hit. Among them were three children and two medical workers. Near the sports complex, 18 people were injured, including two children. A three-year-old and a three-month-old child suffered an acute stress reaction.
Let us recall that on the afternoon of September 1, Russian occupiers fired more than 10 missiles at Kharkov. Three S-300 SAM missiles and three Iskander-M missiles were recorded as having hit the city.
The enemy struck three locations in the city. In Saltovsky district, a hit was recorded near the metro and a shopping center, and in Kievsky district, the enemy struck a private residential sector. In Nemyshlyansky district, the invaders destroyed the Sports Palace.
The prosecutor’s office has launched a pre-trial investigation under Part 1 of Article 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
