An air strike was carried out by the Russians in Sumy region on Sunday, September 1.
The enemy hit the infrastructure of the Sumy community. In total, three explosions were recorded in the area. It is preliminarily known that there were casualties after the Russian strike. This was reported by the Sumy Regional Military Administration.
All necessary personnel are already working at the site of the impacts. The injured are receiving medical assistance. The consequences of the enemy attack are also being eliminated.
The Sumy Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported that at about 15:30, Russians dropped three guided aerial bombs on Sumy. As a result of the attack, one of the city’s industrial enterprises was damaged, in particular, a production and storage facility, an administrative building and three vehicles. A workshop of one of the local plants was also damaged. A 42-year-old female employee of the enterprise was injured.
Law enforcement officers are conducting a pre-trial investigation into the violation of the laws and customs of war – Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Let us recall that on August 31, Russian occupiers launched a missile attack on a convoy of grain trucks on the Sumy-Kharkov highway near the village of Verkhnyaya Syrovatka in the Sumy district. As a result of the attack, a 23-year-old truck driver was killed and four more drivers were injured. One of the grain trucks caught fire and about 20 more trucks were damaged.
