Russian forces shelled the town of Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk region on August 31, killing at least five people.
As reported by the head of the Donetsk OVA Vadim Filashkin, the shells hit a private house and a multi-story building. The dead are men aged 24 to 38.
Vremen Yar is a city where normal life has been impossible for over two years. Don’t turn yourselves into a Russian target! Evacuate! – Filashkin urged.
The Russians have long wanted to capture Vremen Yar because it is located at a height.
From here, the enemy’s artillery will be able to shell Konstantinovka, Druzhkovka and Kramatorsk, said Andrey Polukhin, a representative of the press service of the 24th Separate Motorized Brigade named after King Daniel.
