Russian airstrike in Sumy leaves nine injured.
At about 1:30 on August 30, the enemy, using methods of warfare prohibited by international law, carried out an airstrike on an enterprise in Sumy. Nine victims are preliminarily known. The consequences of the fire are currently being eliminated. This was reported by the Sumy Oblast Prosecutor’s Office on Telegram.
Law enforcement officers, in cooperation with other security forces, are documenting the consequences of the shelling. A pre-trial investigation has been launched into the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war – Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
At the same time, the OVA stated that on August 29, Russian troops fired 78 times at border areas and settlements in the Sumy region. 198 explosions were recorded there. Three civilians were injured as a result of an FPV drone attack on the Seredino-Buda community.
Let us recall that the airstrike on Sumy caused a fire, as a result of which smoke is observed in some microdistricts of the city. Local authorities have called on residents to close their windows and doors tightly and, if possible, not to leave their premises until the consequences of the enemy attack have been completely eliminated.
