Following the latest strikes by Russian troops on Ukrainian territory, including what has become the most massive during the full-scale Muscovite invasion, the North Atlantic Alliance is ready to increase its support for Kyiv.
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg stated this on Wednesday after a meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Council, convened at the request of Kyiv.
In the wake of the latest Russian attack, NATO allies today confirmed they are increasing their military assistance to Ukraine, he said. “We must continue to provide Ukraine with the equipment and ammunition it needs to defend itself against a Russian invasion. This is vital to enable Ukraine to continue the fight.
At the same time, Stoltenberg stressed that Ukraine’s ability to maintain its defense against Russian aggression requires increased supplies and military support.
