Pavel Durov was released from custody

    .

BFMTV reported this on August 28. It is known that the investigating judge stopped keeping Pavel Durov in police custody for the purpose of initial interrogation and possible charges.

But this means a change in Durov’s status. Subsequently, after questioning and possible charges, a decision will be made about his fate. The judge has not yet made a final decision on Durov’s case.

Earlier it became known that an arrest warrant for the founder of Telegram and his brother Nikolai Durov was issued in March 2024.

Durov was detained at Paris’ Le Bourget airport on the evening of August 24 as part of an investigation into an unidentified person on 12 counts of crime.
