A police officer has been removed from his post following an internal investigation into an altercation near a capital hypermarket. This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv region police on Wednesday, August 28.
“The event took place on August 14 at about 15:00 in the parking lot of one of the capital’s hypermarkets.” the message returned.
An official investigation was ordered based on reports published in the media.
The inspector’s wife, a civilian, was driving the car. A passing driver discovered the violations and later reprimanded the family. The driver and passenger did not respond to comments, entered into a conflict, and left the car in a place for disabled people for about an hour.
“Based on the results of the inspection, the employees of the Office of the Main Inspectorate of the Kiev Region Police applied disciplinary sanctions to the police in the form of dismissal from the office,” the press service reported.
