The Ukrainian authorities will be happy to cooperate with India on alternative supply routes, assured the Ukrainian head of state.
India could deprive Putin’s war economy of billions in revenue. President Vladimir Zelensky said this in an interview with Indian media on Sunday, August 25.
India is open to export opportunities to the Russian Federation, and it helps the Russian army, and if the Indian side stops importing oil, Vladimir Putin will face big challenges.
“You have an influence on the Russian economy today, you do, it’s true, because many export opportunities for Russia are closed, but India is open we discussed this with Mr. the Russian army, Zelensky said.
The head of state assures that the Ukrainian authorities will be happy to cooperate with India on alternative supply routes.
“The question here is not about the millions, but about the billions that returned to Putin, to Russia, and then he uses them, because he officially has a war economy. This means that the priority is war, not peace,” Zelensky explained.
He also separately explained that the invasion of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kursk region was necessary to prevent the Russian occupation of the North. At that moment, Sumy was mainly under threat.
“The Kursk operation is part of a big military-political, military-diplomatic operation. Everything we are doing is only to force the Russian Federation to be ready for a just peace.”
Earlier, President Vladimir Zelensky said that four documents had been agreed upon with India. He also expressed hope that India will be included in the joint communiqué of the first Peace Summit.
It was also learned that India is promoting achieving peace in Ukraine through diplomacy.
