Over the past 24 hours, 160 combat clashes were recorded. The hottest situation was in the Pokrovsky direction, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on the morning of August 25.
The Russians carried out five strikes with 15 missiles and 95 airstrikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, dropping 127 KABs. In addition, they carried out more than 4,800 attacks, including 143 from multiple launch rocket systems.
In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders repelled 58 enemy assault actions, in particular, in the areas of the settlements of Vozdvizhenka, Kalinovoye, Zelenoe Pole, Mirolyubovka, Grodovka, Ptiche, Novogrodovka. The greatest concentration of attacks was near Novogrodovka and Kalinovoye.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy attacked 14 times. The defense forces repelled assault actions near Novoselovka, Stelmakhovka, Sinkovka and Glushkovka.
In the Liman direction, there were also 14 combat contacts near Druzhelyubovka, Makeyevka, Novosadovye, Nevsky and Dibrova.
Nine combat clashes took place in the Seversky direction. Ukrainian defenders repelled assault actions by Russian invaders near Verkhnekamenskoye, Belogorovka, Vyemka and Spornoye.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the Russians attacked 19 times near Stupochki, Vremenny Yar, Kalinovka, Grigoryevka, and Predtechino.
In the Toretsk direction, 14 battles were fought near Nelipovka, Toretskaya, New York and Dilievka.
In the Kurakhovsky direction, the Defense Forces stopped 18 enemy attacks near Karlovka, Georgievka, Mikhailovka, Krasnogorovka and Konstantinovka.
Russian troops have advanced in the Pokrovsky direction of Novogrodivtsi, approaching the city center, writes the military public Deep State.
They also approached Selidovo from Marinovka and Nikolaevka. Less than three kilometers remained from the front line to the eastern edge of the city.
In addition, Russian troops advanced northeast of Ugledar, in the Vodyanoye area.
In the Krasnogorovka area, Russians launched an assault west of the city and blew up a landing force of armored vehicles. Fighting is ongoing in the area, Deep State reported.
According to a Ukrainian Armed Forces officer with the call sign “Alex”, this assault began this morning.
For the first time in a long time, the enemy is trying to push through our defense in the western part of the city in order to flank the guys holding the defense in the Georgievka area. The situation there is difficult, we have lost positions. We are gradually trying to stabilize the situation, – he said.

The fighting in Toretsk is heavy. Similarly with the Pokrovsk direction, it is simply impossible to stop this litter of advancing occupiers at the moment. Another Bakhmut is beginning there. Like in Grodovets and Novogrodovka.
It is very difficult in the Pokrovsk direction. The enemy is climbing almost without breaks. They are walking over their own corpses. They are trying to bypass Novogrodovka on our left flank. There is also an attempt to bypass Selidovo.
The defense forces stand strong. But the balance of power is very much not in our favor. That is why our soldiers are doing everything possible and impossible! In terms of the intensity of the battles, Grodovka alone can give Bakhmut a run for its money.
