The fact that the infidels left their positions on the island is also confirmed by new satellite images. Photographs show smoke from burning military equipment and buildings at locations in the northern part of the island. This was reported on June 30 by Sky News.
It is noted that the photos appeared after the Russian military command announced the withdrawal of the garrison from Zmeinoye.
Recall that on June 30, the Odessa military administration announced that on June 30, the Armed Forces of Ukraine completely liberated the Odessa region from Russian invaders. Snake Island, located in the northwestern part of the Black Sea, has so far remained the only occupied territory in the region.
The invaders, unable to withstand the regular artillery, missile and air strikes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, left the Ukrainian island.
The Ministry of Defense of the aggressor country of Russia stated that they had allegedly completed the tasks on the island, and the evacuation of the remnants of the garrison was allegedly a “gesture of goodwill.” Thus, Moscow wanted to show that the Russian side “does not interfere with the UN in organizing a humanitarian corridor for the export of grain from Ukraine.”
