Russia’s military losses in the war with Ukraine have exceeded 606 thousand people.
Over the past 24 hours, the aggressor country’s numerical army has been reduced by another 1,160 of its own troops. Ukrainian troops have also destroyed nine more Russian tanks, 21 combat armored vehicles, 42 artillery systems, two MLRS, three air defense systems, 39 operational-tactical drones, 54 vehicles and one unit of special equipment. This was reported on August 24 by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The enemy’s total combat losses from February 24, 2022 to August 24, 2024 were approximately:
- personnel – about 60 thousand 6490 (+1 thousand 160) people,
- tanks – 8 thousand 542 (+9) units,
- combat armored vehicles – 16 thousand 620 (+21) units,
- artillery systems – 17 thousand 349 (+42) units,
- MLRS – 1 thousand 169 (+2) units,
- air defense systems – 935 (+3) units,
- aircraft – 367 (+0) units,
- helicopters – 328 (+0) units,
- Operational-tactical level UAVs – 14 thousand 64 (+39),
- cruise missiles – 2 thousand 444 (+2),
- ship/boat – 28 (+0) units,
- submarines – 1 (+0) units,
- automotive equipment and tank trucks – 23 thousand 383 (+54) units,
- special equipment – 2 thousand 911 (+1).
Let us recall that recently the fighters of the 46th separate airmobile brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed and damaged six units of enemy equipment. During the assault attempt in the Kurakhovsky direction, the enemy lost one tank and five infantry fighting vehicles.
