On the night of today, August 23, Russian invaders shelled the villages of Boguslavka and Kolesnikovka in the Kharkiv region, resulting in casualties.
The head of the Kharkiv OVA, Oleg Sinegubov, reported this on his Facebook page.
The following Russian shelling was recorded during the night:
- at 03.30 – in the village of Kolesnikovka, a residential building was damaged as a result of shelling. A 46-year-old man was wounded;
- at 03.38 – in the village of Boguslavka. As a result of the shelling, houses were burning. A 78-year-old woman was injured. An elderly man is presumably under the rubble. Rescue work continues;
- at 04:00 – in the village of Shiykovka. As a result of the shelling, grass burned over an area of 200 square meters.
In addition, yesterday, August 23, the following shellings were recorded:
- 15.47 – Izyumsky district, Borovskaya TG, near the village of Novoplatonovka. As a result of the shelling, forest litter burned over an estimated area of 5 hectares;
- 15.42 – Bogodukhov district, Bogodukhov territorial community, city of Bogodukhov. As a result of enemy shelling from MLRS, a private enterprise, six private houses, two apartment buildings, four cars were damaged. Eight people were injured, including a 15-year-old child. A 57-year-old man died;
- 15.42 – Bogodukhovskaya TG, Semenov Yar village. As a result of the shelling, coniferous litter burned over an area of 2 hectares;
- 13.30 – Kupyansky district, Kurilovskaya TG, Novoosinovo village. As a result of the shelling, abandoned houses were burning.
- 11.35 Kupyansky district, Kurilovskaya TG, Glushkovka village. As a result of shelling, a private house is on fire;
- 11.20 Kupyansky district, Kupyanskaya territorial community, Kupyansk-Uzlovaya settlement. Preliminary reports indicate that an outbuilding was on fire as a result of mortar shelling. Civilian infrastructure was damaged. A 65-year-old man was injured;
- 08.30 Kupyansky district, Shevchenkovskaya TG, Odradnoye village. As a result of shelling, an outbuilding burned.
He also continued to attack the positions of Ukrainian military in the Kharkiv region:
- in the Kharkov direction, Russian terrorists twice unsuccessfully stormed the positions of our units in Volchansk. Also, in certain sections of the front, the Ukrainian military carried out active actions to improve the tactical situation;
- In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions 14 times. Near the settlements of Stelmakhovka, Sin’kovka, Glushkovka, Lozovaya and Andreyevka, units of the Defense Forces repelled ten attacks. The situation is tense, four clashes are ongoing.
