The head of the Chinese government, Li Qiang, said that Chinese-Belarusian relations have remained “buoyant” for the past 32 years.
Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang visited Minsk after Moscow, where he met with Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko. The parties made a statement about strengthening cooperation in several sectors: trade, security, energy and finance. It was reported by Reuters.
China and Belarus will also strengthen cooperation in industrial supply chains and continue to strengthen trade facilitation to reduce costs for both sides.
Belarus aims to deepen cooperation in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, a metropolitan area covering nine cities including Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Zhuhai.
During his visit to Minsk, Li said China-Belarus relations have remained “buoyant” over the past 32 years despite the changing international landscape.
Li arrived in Belarus on Thursday after completing his first visit to Russia as Chinese premier.
