Explosions occurred in the port of Kavkaz in the Krasnodar region of Russia.
On Thursday, August 22, arrivals were recorded on the ferry “Aquatrader”, loaded with railway tanks with fuel. They began to explode. A large-scale fire broke out, and black smoke over the port was visible from occupied Crimea. This was reported by the monitoring group “Crimean Wind” on Telegram.
The Russian dictatorship subsequently confirmed the strike on the port of Kavkaz in Krasnodar Krai. The occupiers said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had struck a railway ferry with fuel tanks. Russian publics reported that the ferry had been attacked by a Ukrainian Neptune missile.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has not yet commented on the explosions in the port.
Let us recall that on the night of August 18, Ukrainian UAVs attacked the huge oil depot “Kavkaz” in the Rostov region. Hundreds of firefighters still cannot cope with the fire, the train and dozens of units of equipment are on fire.
