The level of electricity consumption continues to grow in Ukraine.
The press service of Ukrenergo reported this today, August 22.
It is noted that:
- Today, as of 9.30, the consumption level is 1.8% higher than the previous day – this is due to the hot weather in most areas.
- Yesterday, August 21, the maximum consumption was 1.4% higher than on the previous working day – Tuesday, August 20.
However, measures to limit consumption are not forecasted today. However, Ukrenergo notes that the Ukrainian energy system is still being restored after eight massive attacks by Russians and there is still a capacity deficit.
Use electricity sparingly throughout the day, and especially between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. Please do not turn on several powerful electrical appliances at the same time during this time, the company urged.
