As of 06:30 today, August 22, there are no enemy ships in the Black and Azov Seas.
This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian Navy.
There is one enemy ship in the Mediterranean Sea; there are no carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles.
It is noted that over the past 24 hours, the following vessels have passed through the Kerch Strait, which connects the Black and Azov Seas, in the interests of Russia:
- to the Black Sea – six ships, four of which continued moving in the direction of the Bosphorus Strait;
- to the Sea of Azov – nine ships, two of which were moving from the Bosphorus Strait.
Russia continues to violate the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea 1974 (SOLAS) by turning off automatic identification systems (AIS), the Navy notes.
