The number of patients with COVID-19 in hospital treatment remains relatively stable: about 2.5 thousand patients with COVID-19 are treated in clinics.
In the first half of August, more than 26 thousand Ukrainians fell ill with the coronavirus. This was announced by the Chief Sanitary Doctor – Deputy Minister of Health Igor Kuzin in a telethon on Wednesday, August 21.
Currently, the number of patients with COVID-19 in hospital treatment remains relatively stable: about 2.5 thousand patients with COVID-19 are treated in clinics. In particular, 80% of them are patients over 60 years of age who have not received vaccination within the past 12 months.
There is an increase in the incidence of coronavirus in Ukraine. In June, 2,300 cases were recorded, while in July there were about 11.5 thousand.
We report that an increase in the number of patients with severe disease of COVID-19 was recorded in Kyiv.
We remind you that in July the incidence of coronavirus in Ukraine increased six times. In July, almost 12,000 cases of coronavirus were recorded, and in June there were 2,000.
