“This is approximately equivalent to the power of one power unit of a large thermal power plant. It is not possible to add this amount of generation today due to the consequences of Russia’s attack on power plants,” the company said.
Today, from 16:00 to 24:00, all categories of consumers will be closed, except for critical infrastructure and businesses that pay for more than 80% of electricity imports for their own need.

So, due to bad weather, 24 settlements in the Ternopil region are without electricity. Due to the fighting, there was a blackout in Donetsk, Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporozhye, Sumy, Kharkov and Kherson regions.
Due to technical reasons, consumers in Dnepropetrovsk, Chernigov and Zhytomyr regions were de-energized.
Today Ukraine imports electricity from Romania, Slovakia, Hungary, and Moldova. A total volume of 19,988 MWh, with a maximum power in individual hours of up to 1212 MW.
The export is not in progress and is not expected.
We remind you that August 18 Ukrainergo announced the return of blackout schedules for the first time since July 29. The company had previously reinstated closures for businesses.
