Kyiv repelled the missile and drone strike on the night and morning of August 20.
At night, the occupiers attacked the capital with attack UAVs, which were all destroyed by air defense. And in the morning, the enemy used cruise missiles, probably Iskander-K, for shelling. The air defense destroyed these targets at the approaches to the city. This was reported by the Kyiv City Military Administration.
It is preliminary known that no one was hurt in the capital, and no damage was recorded.
The KMV added that this was already the fifth missile attack on Kyiv this month and the 41st air raid alert has been declared for the capital since the beginning of August.
Let us recall that on the night of August 19, the occupiers attacked Ukraine with 11 Shahed-type attack drones. Ukrainian military shot down all enemy UAVs in the Nikolaev, Cherkasy, Vinnytsia, Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Sumy and Donetsk regions.
